Tires
Every track requires a different tire set up. We will discuss indepth Grooving, Siping and Compounds of tires.
Class Details
Our Race School is dedicated to helping you gain faster lap times. There are many factors that go into being faster on race day, but it starts with proper training, set up of your bike and understanding the proper techniques required to make it on the podium. Daryl's extensive knowledge from 20+ years of racing combined with his knowledge of how the mechanics of the bike work will give you the competitive edge.

What will I Learn?
Chassis
The chassis set up is key to the overall performance of your quad.
Shocks
​Valving, Compression, Spring Rates and Dampening all have an effect on your quads handling.
Sway Bar

Daryl will help you understan d how a sway bar works and what they do. Daryl has designed and refined Rath Racings sway bar for years. How weight transfers is one of the most important things to cornering fast.
Training
Practice makes perfect and so does your training habits. Daryl will discuss share how he prepares for race day and what you can do to be better prepared.
Gearing
The basics of gear set up will be covered, each track has a different length and speed. Having the proper gearing will ensure your set up is ready for tight corners and high speed runs.
Reading Track Conditions
Dry Slicks, Rubber Tracks, and Blue Groove are all ways to describe TT track conditions. Daryl will cover ways to read tracks, and how to make adjustments during practice. 
Starts / Holeshot
Every race begins with a Holeshot, If you don't come out clean and ahead of the pack you have a lot of work to do. Body Postions, Clutching and reaction time are important factors to getting out front early.
Body Position
Body Position is a key factor when cornering and during the holeshot. Daryl will discuss where to be, how to do it, and when to do it.
What to Bring
​1. Quad ready to ride.
2. Tools to work on your quad.
3. Boots helmets and goggles at minimum - full race gear recommended. 
4. Running shoes. 
5. Water lunch and snacks.
6. Note pad and pen.
7. Camping available - no hookups.

Cornering
Races are won and lost in the corners. Effectively having the proper entry speed, exit speed, body position and control of your bike will help turn faster lap times.
Braking
Braking changes the handling of your quad, learning how to effectively use the front and rear brakes in every situation is a must to perform at the highest level.
Day 1. (8:00am - 5:00pm)

The first day of class will cover the topics mentioned in the "What will I Learn" window to the right. It will be a mix between classroom time and riding on a clay TT course. 

Pricing for the one day class is $350 per rider.


Day 2. (8:00am - 5:00pm)

The second day of class is designed for more indepth bike set up. Daryl will work 1 on 1 with you to scale your quad, set toe in/toe out, adjust ride height, sway bar set up, adjust camber using camber guage and turn plate. 

Pricing for day 2 is starting at $150 per  machine and $75 per hour after 2 hours.

A $100 deposit to reserve your spot is required. Class is expected to sell out,  Register today!
